Localization is translation concentrated on the culture of a county, its customs, symbols and requirements. Maintaining all textual functions in the translation. Text which is localized should be perceived as original and the client should have the impression of an original text. Localization is completed successfully when the client does not recognize that the text has been localized.

Localized text is usually used when translating:

• marketing texts
• computer games
• web pages
• manuals, handbooks and instructions
• computer software, applications or documents
• teaching materials

Rules of correct localization:

• Retain the terminology of the country where the translation will be used
• Retain the rules and structure of clauses of the country
• Do not use foreign words
• Do not command a client
